CUSTOMERS of Vodafone living in Glencolmkille say they’ve had enough of the company’s “shoddy” service – after coverage was lost again in the area.
It’s the fifth time in the past 18 months that coverage for the network has crashed.
Several Donegal Daily readers say they have complained to the company (via landline calls and emails) and the company has promised that engineers are working on the problem.
“We were told that technicians are fixing it, but it still hasnt been sorted,” complained one resident.
“We’ve lost our coverage three or four times this year and it takes ages for them to fix the problem each time.
“It’s just not good enough. Maybe the fact we’re in a rural area and don’t have the big population means we’re not priority on vodafone’s list.”
Another resident told us: “They seem to have coverage problems all the time. Vodafone has become a bit of joke. A great network to have if you don’t want to be contacted.
“They are completely useless; no other way to describe Vodafone.”
