Buncrana GAA Notes For Week Ending Sunday 9th September

 

All-Ireland Final Tickets: Orders for All Ireland Final tickets from Adult Members only will be taken up to 5.00pm Friday 7th September 2012. Orders after this will not be recognised or recorded and deemed invalid. Unfortunately demand for tickets is higher than the allocation from the Donegal County Board. Please place your order with Pauline at 086 0812429 or email to secretary.buncrana.donegal@gaa.ie. The committee’s decision is final in all aspects.

 

5 MIle Walk/Run: Buncrana GAA have launched an exciting new annual event 5 Mile Road Race/Walk on All Ireland Final Weekend, Friday 21st September in aid of the Youth Development Fund. Runners & Walkers at all levels welcomed, please pre-register by emailing buncranagaa@gmail.com.

 

U21 Semi-Final: The Under 21 football semi-final against Naomh Brid Ballintra takes place this Sunday in Killygordan with a 2pm throw in. Training for this squad exclusively takes place tomorrow night Tuesday at 7.30. Further schedules will be given at this session. Contact Stephen re availability. Any players who are not members of the Club must pay in advance of this.

 

U8 Football: U8 Football Training has now finished for the season and the management team would like to thank all we participated in a busy year for both training and blitz’s. Thanks to all parent who helped throughout the year. A note will be sent out when the training is to re-start.

U10 Football: Training continues every Friday at 7.00pm at the Scarvey and new players are always welcome.

 

Boys U14 Hurling: Boys U14 Hurling training takes place at the Scarvey every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7.00pm. If you haven’t played before and are interested in playing Hurling please feel free to come along.

 

Boys U14 Football: Training for the boys U14 team will take place on Monday evening at 5.00pm. New and returning players are always welcome.

 

Boys U14 & U18 Hurling: Hurling training for boys aged 14 to 18 years takes place every Saturday at the Scarvey at 3.00pm-5.00pm. New players are always welcome.

 

U8 and U10 Hurling: Hurling training for children under 8 and under 10 years takes place each Sunday at 11.00am. If your child would like to learn the basic skills of hurling in a safe and fun environment please come down and try it out, new players are always welcome.

 

Lotto: The winning numbers in the €3,020 jackpot lotto draw, which took place on Tuesday 28th August in O’Flaherty’s Bar on the Main Street, are as follows:

2, 6, 17, 20.

 

There was no jackpot winner this week, however prizes of €20 go to each of the following participants:
