Senior Men
The senior men were beaten by neighbours Downings in heartbreaking circumstances in last Sunday’s semi-final replay. After they battled back from five points down in the second half to draw level, Downings scored a point with virtually the last kick of the game to leave the final score 1-9 to 1-8. The team and management deserve great credit for the effort that they put in this year and this is sure to spur them on to greater things next season.
All Ireland
The club would like to wish Jimmy McGuinnes and all the players good luck for Sunday’s final against Mayo and that all members travelling to support the team have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
