Following the celebrations after our fantastic All Ireland win in Croke Park it was back to the reality of Club Championship here in Donegal at the weekend. The Senior and Reserve teams travelled to Gaoth Dobhair where the reserves were well beaten and the Seniors came away with a hard earned victory. The return leg will take place on Sunday 7th October in Glenswilly at 1.30 and 3pm.

The 3rd team will finish their season on Saturday 6th October with an away game to Pettigo at 5pm.

The club would like to congratulate the Donegal Senior team, management and backroom staff on taking Sam Maguire back to Donegal. We are extremely grateful to them for ensuring the team travelled to Glenswilly on Thursday night to end their whirlwind tour of Donegal. We are very proud of Michael Murphy, Neil Gallagher and Gary McFadden and we would like to thank them most sincerely for being great ambassadors for Glenswilly Gaa Club and the whole county of Donegal. Many thanks to anyone who helped last Thursday night with the visit of the All Ireland Champions.
