Ninety Hurlers took part in the first County Winter Training Programme on Saturday in Deele College. Hurlers born from 1996 to 2000 should attend this intense training session. The next scheduled date for this training programme is on Saturday the 27th of October 2012 at the same venue. Bus times will be sent to each club closer to the date.
The U13 North West League is in full swing with teams from the north of the county playing in both divisions.
The Minor Board County Hurling AGM will be held on Tuesday the 16th of October at 8:30 pm in the County Offices, Ballybofey. Please note that the nominations for officers should be submitted to the secretary Sharon Harnett by the 12th of October. The Chair, Vice-Chair and the Secretary are all stepping down this year after a much valued service to the county. We would like to thank them for their work and would encourage others to step up into these positions. Without these roles it would be very difficult to run county hurling in the forthcoming year.
