DEATH THREAT ISSUED TO BROTHER OF MAN MURDERED IN DONEGAL

The brother of a man murdered in Donegal earlier this year has been told his life is also now under threat.

Andrew Allen, 24, was blasted to death in Buncrana in February in front of his girlfriend at their rented home.

The Republican Action Against Drugs claimed responsibility for the man’s death.

Gardai in Buncrana made two arrests in connection with the brutal assassination but nobody has yet been charged with his death.

Now the dead man’s brother Daniel, 26, has also been told by police in Derry that his life is under threat.

The men’s mother, Donna Smith, said she felt Daniel’s life was being threatened because he had spoken out about what happened to his brother.

The Allen family have always denied Andrew was involved in drugs as was claimed by RAAD.

Donna Smith said she could not believe the group was targeting her second son after they had killed another son.

“It’s just unbelievable what is happening. I can’t take it in.

“Daniel had to bury his brother and now he is being targeted for speaking out about Andrew’s murder. It’s horrific that they would do this to us again,” she said.

Daniel is believed to have left Derry and is in hiding after the threat which was issued on Facebook on Monday.
