SOCCER: BONAGEE UTD CLUB NOTES

The Christmas club is now open and merchandise can be viewed at the above website or at the Club House.

The under 12 team continued their unbeaten start to the season when they defeated Letterkenny Rovers 6-2. Scorers were Johnathon Coady (2). Dylan Doogan (2). Jordi Nugent and Adam Murphy. Player of the match was Dylan O Brien. They are playing Monaghan side Glaslough on Sunday in Bonagee at 11:30 KO in the National Cup.

The under 12 Tigers recorded their first win of the season as goals from Tomas Bridgeman and Josh Mullen saw them record a 2-1 home victory over Ballyraine Diamonds. Luke Cassidy had an outstanding game in goals.

The under 14 team lost out 4-2 away to Milford, with James Carolan and Aaron Mc Glynn the scorers. They are at home to Illistrin in the 2nd round of the FAI national cup this Sunday. Kick off 4-30pm.A brace of goals each from Adam Harkin, Phillip Cassidy and Niall Mc Menamin secured a 6-4 home win for the under 14 Tigers over Ballyraine Celtic. Jordan Rodgers and Sean Kelly performed well. They are due to play Capry Rovers at Rockhill this Saturday, while the Under 16 side is also playing at Rockhill on Saturday against Letterkenny Rovers.

All under-age managers are reminded to forward a detailed match report and forth coming fixtures to the PRO by 7pm every Sunday evening.

The u18 youth team were defeated at home 2-1 by Swilly Rovers the Bonagee scorer was Duncan Mc Intyre best for Bonagee was Paddy O’Loan and Mark Gale.Then are home to Yeats Utd.from Sligo in the F.A.I.National Cup this Saturday at 2pm.

The senior team were defeated at home 3-2 by Buncrana Harps last Sunday, the Bonagee scorers were Jason Ashmore and Greg Magee.

The Donegal league team were also defeated away 4-2 by Glenree the Bonagee scorers were Darren Coyle and Shane Kelly. They are home this Sunday to Whitestrand.

There were two match five no. winners last week in the clubs weekly lotto draw Barney Harkin Drumany and Rose Griffin Drumnahoe each get €25. Lucky no. winners sally Mc Carron Lurgybrack, Conal Doherty Listillion, Margo Haughey Caralina Park, Kathleen Doherty Ard Colm Cille and Rhona Mc Garrigle Listillion. Lotto plus winners €50 Rose Griffin Drumnahoe, €30 Martina Diver Glen and €20 Sara & Eddie Bradley c/o Gerard O’Loan. Numbers drawn were 2,6,8,9,12,13 lucky no. was 15. Next week’s jackpot is now €1450

Tickets are now on sale for the clubs annual development draw with €7000 in prizes. Tickets are €10 each or a book of 3 for €20 and are available from all players and committee members
