ATHLETICS: ROSSES AC NEWS

Rosses AC

This Sunday November 11th sees the Ulster Uneven age group and Ulster Novice cross country in Killybegs. A number of athletes travelled to Rostrevor in Co. Down for the Ulster Even age group cross country with Patrick Marry 3rd in the under 11s and Saskia Boyle the 4th county counter. Both go forward to the All Ireland’s. The next 5 sessions for the Sports Hall athletics will commence Monday 12th November – all welcome. Training will continue for our cross country until Friday 16th November from 4.30 – 5.30. Track and Field will start again in the Spring. The club annual presentation night will be Wednesday November 21st at the N. Mhuire club house starting at 7pm. All parents and children are asked to come along and all children who have participated in indoors, track and field, cross country, etc. The annual club AGM will take place on Wednesday 28th November in the hall in Mullaghduff with an 8:30pm start. Parents, committee and new members all welcome and encouraged to come along. All seniors please note that the club is planning to have a Senior awards and social night with a provisional date of December 14th planned in Dungloe – more details to follow.
