Care and Repair Programme

Volunteers required for the Care and Repair programme. The programme uses a pool of volunteers and handypersons to carry out small repairs and to complete minor home tasks for older people. Volunteers in affect provide a willing pair of helping hands to do a variety of small tasks that an older person may find difficult to do, such as mowing the lawn, change plugs etc. Training will be given. For further information contact Rosses CDP. 074 9561686 / 0879615775 This programme is run in conjunction with Age Action Ireland.

Carers Night

Mary O Farrell will be in attendance. Calling all carers, take a break and come for a fun night Tuesday the 20th Nov 7.30pm -9.30pm in the Rosses CDP centre. Cost €3

Volunteer of the Year

We are looking for the Rosses Volunteer of the Year. If you know someone who deserves this prize, which is a crystal vase and €200, in memory of Nancy and Neil O’Donnell. Nominations forms available in the CDP office, please call in or phone. 074 9561686. Forms to be returned by the 30th Nov 2012

Northwest Ladies

(Formerly the Dungloe widows) A sing-a-long “its just for fun” in the Rosses CDP on Friday 23rd November 8pm-10pm. Cost €5 and light refreshments will be served.

Community Notice Board

We have a new community notice board outside our new premises, if you would like us to advertise an event. (A4 size posters).

Active Retirement

Flower arranging workshop on Tuesday the 20th November at 11am . Venue: The Rosses CDP Centre.
