GAA NEWS: NAOMH COLMCILLE CLUB NOTES

The club dinner dance was held on Friday night at the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny. The special Guest was Mark McHugh (Donegal’s All-Star winner). John Fullerton, Conor Grant and Martin Devenney received the awards for young player of the year, most improved, and player of the year respectively for the reserves. The senior honours went to Willie Gillespie (young player of the year), Don Hegarty (most improved), and Ryan McErlean (player of the year). Thomas McKinley and Willie Gillespie received recognition awards for their involvement with the Donegal senior and minor county teams. Sean and Mary Grant accepted an award on behalf of their son, Liam, to mark his recent selection as an Asian Gulf games All-Star recipient. The victorious senior team also received their Division 4 league winners medals. Sharon Monaghan received a special award for her services to the club. There will be a meeting of all adult players in the clubhouse on Friday 30th November at 7:00 pm. Check the club website or Facebook page for any further updates.

Naomh Colmcille’s Weekly Lotto: This week’s winning number sequence was 6.12.14.17.21. The closest match was three numbers and the three winners were Clement Clarke, Leo Devenney and Laura Mulhern c/o Carrig Inn who won €25 each. Next week’s jackpot is €1,650. The Club would like to take the opportunity to Thank Everyone for their continued support of the Lotto as it gives the Club the essential means of continuing to give our local Kids and Adults the chance to avail of a great and healthy pastime.
