Our final games of the season were a mixed affair, with the reserves losing out to Urris, and the seniors overcoming the same opposition by four points. Many thanks to the players and management for their commitment all season.
A coffee evening will take place in the clubhouse this Thursday, November 29th, from 6-9pm. All proceeds are in aid of the Good & New bus to Galway for cancer patients.
The Sam Maguire cup will be present, and a photographer will be in attendance for anyone who wants to get their picture taken with the cup. We would ask you all to come out and support this very worthy cause. The cheque presentation of €16,000 to Temple Street Childrens Hospital will take place in the Naomh Columba clubhouse on Saturday, December 8th, at 2pm. Everyone is most welcome to come along for this event.
The 2012 underage presentation night is scheduled for Saturday, December 15th, in Meenaneary Community Centre. The Scór na nÓg Ulster semi-final is scheduled for Glenswilly on Friday, December 7th. Naomh Columba are represented in the quiz section by Brian Gallagher, Cormac Mc Ginley & Aidan Mc Gill. Stars in Their Eyes 2013 will take place on Saturday, February 9th, in the Meenaneary Community Centre.
