Former Donegal, Mayo and Laois coach Michael McGeehin has been appointed to the backroom team of Limerick football manager Maurice Horan.
The well-known St Eunan’s clubman comes on board in a coaching capacity after helping to guide the Letterkenny outfit to their first Donegal senior crown since 2009.
McGeehin worked as coach during John Joe Doherty’s spell as Donegal manager, but is familiar with the Shannonsiders’ set-up as he served as Limerick coach in 2008 under Mickey Ned O’Sullivan.
