Lotto & 100+ Club

There was no winning sequence in this weeks Lotto but the winner of the lucky dip was Dolores Geary, Railway Avenue who wins €30. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €1,750. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 23rd February – Kieran Bradley, 2nd March – Joe Sweeney, 9th March – Charlie Doherty and 16th March – Bernard Devine.

The winner of the 100+ Club draw this week was Pat Lafferty, Killygordon who wins €100. Thanks to all for their continued support of the weekly Lotto & 100+ Club.

The winner of the players draw this week was Paul McMenamin. €4 to be paid weekly to ensure entry in the draw.

Seniors, Reserves and U21

This years championship draws were made at the weekend: Junior A – Red Hughs v Convoy; Junior B – Red Hughs v St Eunans or Glenswilly; U21 – Red Hughs v St Nauls.

Training continues this week on Wednesday and Friday at 7.00pm. There is expected to be a challenge game for the seniors and reserves this Sunday.

Membership

All those who have not registered with the club should do so now. Adult membership costs €30 per person with a concession rate of €50 for couples (an adult and their partner/husband/wife). Underage registration costs €10 per child or a maximum of €20 for a family. New members are very welcome to join the club. All players must have membership paid before taking part in games. Contact club Registrar Eamonn Kelly on (087) 2942974.

Minor Board

There is still a managerial vacancy for the U16 Girls team. Anyone interested contact Stephen Gallagher on (087) 2054484.

Night at the Races

The club will be holding a ‘Night at the Races’ this Saturday the 23rd February in Brownes Bar starting at 9.30pm.

St Patrick Weekend Day of Culture

The club will be hosting a St Patricks weekend ‘Day of Culture’ at the pitch on Saturday 16th March from 2.00pm to 5.30pm. There will be various activities on the day including ceili dancing, traditional sessions, storytelling, face painting and lots more. Refreshments will be served. Entry for adults is €5 and €3 for children. Everyone is welcome.

Zumba

Zumba takes place at the clubhouse on Mondays at 10.00am and Wednesdays at 7.00pm. €5 per person. All are welcome.

Clubhouse Open for Activities

The upstairs room in the clubhouse is currently available for use for classes/activities. Times are flexible and reasonable rates apply. Anyone interested in using these facilities should contact Andy Doherty on (087) 6843311 for more details.

Sympathy

Sincere sympathy is extended to the O’Loughlin family, The Curragh on their recent bereavement.
