Hundreds of tweeters are expected to scale Mt Errigal on Sunday for Ireland’s highest tweet-up.Errigal

This is the second event after last year’s inaugural climb which proved a huge success.

Those taking part will meet at the carpark at the bottom of Mt Errigal for the event which kicks off at noon.

Money raised during the event will be donated to two very worthy charities – the Mark Pollock Trust and the Little Angels School in Letterkenny.

Anybody with an old mobile phone is asked to bring it along and donate it for what is a very worthy cause.

Conditions for the event are expected to be dry although it’s unlikely there will be a need for sun-cream!

Once climbers get to the top of Errigal, it will be tweet time with hundreds of tweets expected to be sent from on top of Donegal’s highest peak.

Everyone is welcome but are asked to dress appropriately and to take care
