GAA NEWS: SEAN MacCUMHAILLS NOTES

REGISTRATION/MEMBERSHIP

Registration fee’s are €30 per adult, €15 per juvenile, family member is €70. Registration fees have to be paid for by 31st March.

If you have not paid by this time, you lose voting rights at the AGM and it will also affect your ticket allocation.

 

SENIOR HURLING

Congratulation to our Senior hurlers who have progressed to the Semi Finals of the Ulster Tain League. They had a comprehensive win over Na Seamroga, winning 1-06 to 0-17. Our opponents for the Semi will be decided this weekend, when the last remaining matches are played. Well done to Don and everyone involved with our Hurlers.

 

SENIOR FOOTBALL

Our Senior footballers played a challenge match against Kilcar on Sat night. The final score was 1-11 to 0-12 in favour of the visitors.The game saw Marty Gallagher making his senior debut, scoring 2 points. Minor players Eoin Gallen, Aaron Kelly, Stephen Mulligan and Conor Lyons all featured in what was a good run out for us. We hope to have another challenge match next Sunday. UNDER 14 FOOTBALL.

Our lads travelled to Tyrone to play Killyclogher in a pre season friendly. our lads put in a good performance and look good for the season ahead. A good day was rounded off with a trip to Healy park for the Donegal game.

 

STEVEN O REILLY

Congratulations to Steven on winning his Irish University’s title. This is Steven’s tenth Irish title. Legend!!!!!

 

MICHAEL MC CLEAN MEMORIAL HANDBALL TOURNAMENT.

U10. Boys and Girls. Training pitch. Wed 6.30pm.

U12 Girls Football. Training pitch Wed 6.30pm.

U14 Football. Tue and Fri 7-8 both nights.

 

DONEGAL V KERRY.

Could all Stewards be at the club for 12.00pm. Full attendance is required.

 

COACHING VACANCIES

We currently have a number of coaching vacancies for the current year for the following teams:

Girls football – U14,

Hurling – U14

Camogie – various teams

IRISH DANCING CLASSES

Irish dance classes every wed in Gaa centre 6 to 7 pm and 7 to 8 pm also Saturdays 4 to 5 pm and 5 to 6 pm qualified tutor reg with coimision le rinci gaelacha.
