St Eunan's GAA logoTHE St Eunan’s GAA club has responded to a decision on the boundary dispute with Letterkenny Gaels.

The Gaels club has not responded yet.

In a statement the county champions said: St. Eunan’s GAA Club welcome the decision of the DRA to dismiss the appeal brought by Letterkenny Gaels against the decision of the Ulster Hearings Committee.

“The effect of this decision is to confirm that a shared catchment area exists for both St. Eunan’s and Letterkenny Gaels, which has been the situation since Letterkenny Gaels were affiliated in 1996. This means that anyone living within our shared catchment area is free to apply to join either club.

“We hope that this matter can now be put behind us and we look forward to working with all GAA people in our shared catchment area to advance the aims of the Association. We will be making no further comment.”
