A full report from referee Michael Duffy is expected to reveal the truth as to whether or not Donegal star Paddy McBrearty was bitten during yesterday’s crunch tie against Dublin.Patrick McBrearty

The county has been awash with rumours that McBrearty was allegedly bitten during yesterday’s game at MacCumhaill Park.

Donegal GAA officials have confirmed that McBrearty received an injury and received treatment.

It is also understood that Dublin’s doctor was asked to come and witness the extent of the injury to the young Kilcar player.

It is understood the Donegal camp are happy to leave the incident in the hands of the referee to make a report on.

A hospital source told Donegal Daily that McBrearty was certainly treated at the hospital yesterday for an injury.
