Donegal is to get another new community radio station. onair

Rosses Community Radio is a community project which although in its infancy is moving rapidly with great momentum by the people of West Donegal.

The station aims to broadcast to, but not limited to, the entire Rosses area and online to Rosses people all over the world.

Organisers of the project say it will be “the Voice of the Community, the Voice of the Rosses, Your Voice.”

The venture will be initially based at the Sean Teic on the Goath Dobhair Road in Dungloe.

Rosses Community Radio is a not for profit venture, run by the community for the community, to inform, entertain and promote the people and the area, socially, economically and culturally.

And the good new is that if you ever wanted to work in a radio station, then RCR is looking for volunteers in front or behind the microphone.

“If you feel this could be something for you, please contact us,” said a spokesman.
