GOLF NEWS – OTWAY CLUB NOTES

Two more new faces featured in the winners enclosure last Sunday, in the McCamish Cup members stableford competition.GOLF LOGO

Well one new face was the winner on a very impressive 45 pts, Ramelton’s Shaun Duffy who left the rest of the field in his wake as he hit a stretch of good form coming into Minor/Donegal season.

While Shaun outclassed the competition last Sunday, he hasn’t done his chances in the Minor League any good, as not only has he suffered a slice to his handicap, he also pipped Minor League captain Pat McNulty into second place, who returned a surprising 41 pts, considering he only went out for an afternoon stroll, and just happened to bring his clubs with him !

Well done to both players on their success, and for heating up the competition in Otway, as so far in 2013 no player has been in the winners enclosure more than once, so it looks like we’re going to have a very interesting season ahead.
