The first lady of musical theatre, Rebecca Storm, is to star at An Grianan Theatre in Letterkenny. An Grianan

recently announced her first solo tour of the northern counties, which will bring her to Letterkenny’s An Grianan Theatre on Sunday 19th May.

Rebecca, who next year will mark 30 years in the business, is best known for her role as Fantine in Les Miserable at the Barbican Theatre, Eva Peron in Evita as well as a long running career as Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers, having been chosen for the role by Willy Russell himself.

The West End icon, who has performed on many Andrew Lloyd Webber compilation albums, is originally from Yorkshire but now resides in Co Kildare and is looking forward to her show in Letterkenny on Sunday, May 19th.

“I have visited the north west on occasion as part of musical theatre tours, but this trip is extra special as it will take me right into the heart of my audience in a relaxed, intimate environment and will showcase many, many hits from a variety of musicals I have been involved with including Evita, Chess, Les Miserables, Blood Brothers and more.

“I have teamed up with some of the north of Ireland’s finest musicians to form my band so audiences are in for a real musical treat in an evening of all time musical classics from some of your favourite West End productions.”
