GAA: NAOMH BRID GAA CLUB NEWS – APPEAL FOR CLUB VOLUNTEERS

NAOMH BRIDLotto : The Results of the Lotto Draw held at Jamsies in Ballintra where Numbers where 1,3,9,13,18.No Jackpot WInner.Winners were Pauric mc Garrigle, W.J.walls,Eileen Sweeney, PJ Gallagher.New Jackpot is a massive €13,900.00.Next Draw is on Monday May 20th in Country Inn.

 

Seniors : They recorded a draw against N Columba on Sunday in Glen at 7 points a piece. P McDaid kicking a few nice points. Some of our other forwards definitely did not have their shooting boots on. Good solid team performance in a very windy day. Ross Gallagher, Sean Gormley and the Quinn brothers had good games.

 

Reserves : Won well against Glen also in championship. The game was won in the first half with solid defending from Conal Rooney, Ricky Walsh and Donal Martin. Stephen Walls seemed to catch everything and Owen Harron bagging 2 goals but missing a third and Stephen McDaid firing 1-3 in the first half alone. Eoin McGarrigle carried the ball well in the second half against the strong wind and seemed to find his range with 3 excellent points also.Mark Quinn, Stephen McDaid, Donal Martn and Stephen Walls where outstanding. Well done to all.

 

Training for Under 8s,10s, 14s,16s all ongoing. Please come out and help the coaches adn managers at Under 8, 10 and 12 level especially.

 

We appeal to anyone who is interested in helping out at the club in any way to contact Martin o Malley, Pat Sweeney or Padraig Molloy.

 

There maybe a home game versus Downings this weekend and we are away to Aodh Rua Ballyshannon the following week (same weekend as donegal game). Fixtures will be confirmed in paper. All stewards and helpers are required for home games.

 

Donegal GAA Supporters Club are holding a Discussion Forum, in AnGrianan Theatre, Letterkenny on Wednesday 22nd May at 8pm. Specialguests on the night are Martin McHugh, Anthony Molloy, John Lynch, and Pat McAnneney, compere on the night will be Highland Radios own Charlie Collins, music entertainment will be provided by Pat Gallagher ( Goats Don’t Shave ) Eddie Gallagher and David Craig Admission is only €10.
