There was a huge turnout on Tuesday evening to the Kilmacrennan 5k road race and walk which took over 800 participants to its village.
The weather faired early which made the event a pleasure for everyone. Johnny Patton led the 285 runners and arrived home in a time of 16:00, to break last year’s course record. Irene McFadden led the women’s race to finish in a time of 20:02.A big thank you to all our sponsors and to all participants who supported the event. Race was started by Danny Mc Daid and Noreen Mc Gettigan Organiser presented the prizes.
