The 2nd team travelled to Glenfin on Sunday morning last and came from 5 points down at half-time to secure a draw, keeping an experienced home team score-less in the 2nd half with a good battling display from all the team. Final score Glenfin 1-04 Naomh Muire 0-07.Naomh Mhuire rosses

Both senior and reserve teams have a 3 week break from games as the senior championship takes place. The next scheduled division 2 league game is on the 16th June away to Cloich Cheann Fhaola.

The u16 girls team exited the championship at the semi-final stages of the competition in Milford last Monday night to an excellent Moville side. Moville lead from start to finish and will be hard to beat in the final. Well done management and players for getting to the play off stages and we will push harder next year to get the silverware.

Training for U-14 girls is Tuesday and Thursday in the Banks from 6 to 7pm. All girls are asked to make a big effort now to make training on both nights girls as the first game is on the 8th of June against Dungloe.

On Monday evening the U-14 Girls squad will be presented with a new set of strips by Aerport Dhún na nGall. It’s great that local companies like Donegal Airport are willing to sponsor our teams and in these hard times for businesses it’s all the more appreciated by our club and members. Maith sibh Aerport Dhún na nGall.

G4G enters week 6 and were are now in football situation and playing small sided game as well as putting the girls through balance coordination. We have still 74 girls attending and our coaching team and parents/helpers are doing great work to make this programme a huge success. The ‘Ready, Steady, Coach’ programme is being prepared and anybody interested just mention your interest to Dónal, Robbie, Shaun, Mary, Marie or any club member and we will get you on the list. It’s is hoped to have the programme run out in the Banks with the 10th of June as our target date or shortly after.

Comhghairdeas le maor Íochtar na Rosann, Seán Mac Ruairí, a bhí 40 ansin ag deireadh na seachtaine. Mar pháirt den cheiliúradh bhí oíche carthanachta ar dóigh in Aislann Rann na Feirste áit a raibh scaifte mór i láthair. Maith thú a Sheáin ar son do chuid oibre uilig don chlub thar na mblianta.

The under 14 boys will play Kilcar on Wednesday at 7.30pm in Kilcar in the championship. The lads narrowly lost out away to St. Nauls by 2 points after a strong performance last Wednesday evening in Mountcharles.

Well done to club players who were part of the county minor panel for 2013.

There are still a small number of club hats and training tops left for sale.

Bhí an chéad tharraingt do chlub an chéid ann ar an 29 Bealtaine. Could club sellers please have your subs in on time for the co-ordinator.
