Slotto: There was no winner of the Slotto this week. The consolation prize of €80 went to Alan Mc Groary, Drimarone. Numbers drawn were 6 3 7 1 2 4 5. Next week’s Jackpot will be €370.
Games: The U10’s will have a great opportunity this Sunday to play in Mac Cumhaill Park in Ballybofey this Sunday just a week after Donegal bet Tyrone there. They will play MacCumhaill’s at 12.15pm so if all players could be there before 12pm.
The U12 girls will also be playing MacCumhaill’s on the same day at 1pm so they will all need to be der by 12.30. Unfortunately there will be no bus on this occasion.
The U10’s will also be hosting another home blitz on Saturday the 8th of June at 11am in Mountcharles. Killybegs and Ballyshannon will be travelling to us for that. All help from Parents again would be greatly appreciated and also if any Senior Ladies/Men could help out on this morning it would be appreciated also.
The U12 boys will start their games off next Monday 3rd at home to Four Masters at 6.30 in Mountcharles.
The club would like to congratulate some of our underage players who have been picked on county panels, such as, Enda O Haigen (U12/14) who played at half time on Sunday at the Donegal game, well done Enda. To Daragh Kelly and Gavin Mulreany who are doing very well on the County U15 development squad and to Daniel Brennan who has been picked on the U16 County panel. Well done to you all boys, keep the good work up!
The senior men our out this weekend against Ballyshannon, they were very unfortunate at the weekend against Downings not to come home with 2 points as it ended in a draw but at least it’s another point to add to the table and they are still undefeated in the league. The seniors have been drawn away to Carndonagh in the first round of the championship which will be on the 9th of June.
A great win this evening for the St. Nauls ladies down in Gweedore in a very entertaining match. It was a very hard fought battle against a great team but the girls game out the winners scoring 4-12 to 2-16. Well done to the panel of 20 that travelled down was a great team effort and everyone fought hard to the very end. Which leaves them 2nd on the table with 2 games in hand. They will play one of these games away to Letterkenny Gaels this Sunday. Good luck to all teams out in action this week.
I would like to ask all managers/coaches again of all underage teams to send me on any match details of when games are on, results etc. So that I can advertise, wish them luck or congratulate the teams in the club notes. Contact me on 0879836145 or alishamc_brearty@hotmail.com.
