The Raphoe politician has revealed he has two daughters sitting the Leaving Cert which starts tomorrow.

“Exam time is stressful for all but remember at this point the work has been done and all you can do now is do the best you can.

“If you are feeling under pressure or stressed do not hesitate to seek support from parents, family or friends. Take care of yourself by eating and sleeping properly during this exam period and take regular study breaks and exercise.

“I have two daughters doing their Leaving certificate and have told them that even though these exams are important, they need to keep things in perspective and remember that they will not define their lives. Once again best wishes and good luck to all,” he said.
