The Sandhouse Hotel Solo Challenge has been launched at a memorable night in Dew Drop Inn in Laghy by Joe Brolly, Martin McHugh, Sam Maguire, Barry Monaghan, Joyce McMullin, Sean Dunnion and our own Matt Gallagher with MC Sean Perry outstanding in his role as Chief Instigator ! This very Important fundraiser is to Benefit The Donegal Hospice with Permits gained to have a Massive Bucket Collection in Donegal Town, Laghy, Ballintra, Ballyshannon, Belleek, Garrison, Belcoo, Blacklion & Derrylin on the 20th July (Ulster Final Weekend). The Permit has also beenobtained to collect in Belturbet and in Clones on Ulster Final Day. This Collection will require approximately 50 people on both days to collect the money which will all go directly to The Donegal Hospice. There is also a Workd Record to be Set by Soloing a football in Relays from Donegal Town starting at 5pm on 20/7/2013 running right through the night ending up in Clones at approximately lunch time on the Day of the Ulster Final. We plan to complete the Relay with our last Participant running onto the pitch in front of 35,000 people. There are still some slots and sponsorship cards available from Sean Rooney 087 9844702 or Elaine on 074 97 21847. This is shaping up to be a very exciting event as a number of celebrities have requested the chance to take part. Anyone that can take part in any way collecting or soloing please contact Sean. Well Done to Aaron Calvey on representing the club and schools in the County skills competition last week. Keep up the good work.

Finally, best wishes to our own David Walsh on Sunday versus Down in another Ulster Semi Final. Another proud day for Tony & Bernie and rest of the Walsh family.
