DINNY McGINLEY LAYS WREATH IN MEMORY OF GREAT WAR DEAD

Dinny McGinleyDONEGAL TD and Junior Government Minister Dinny McGinley has this afternoon laid a wreath at a memorial in France to the dead of the First World War.

Minister McGinley was at Guillemont marking the contribution of Irish in Battle of there in 1916.

Thousands of Irish men died in the main battle at the northern French village in September of that year.
