H&M: Coming to Letterkenny
Exclusive: SWEDISH fashion retailer H&M will open a new store in County Donegal in the autumn, we have learned.
Up to ten jobs will be created by the new outlet which will be based at the Letterkenny Retail Park.
The decision of such an internationally well known company to locate here is a massive vote of confidence in the retail sector.
The company has advertised the positions on its website.
It is looking for full-time and part-time sales assistants and visual merchandisers.
H&M is the second biggest fashion retailer in the world. It has a store in Derry and recently opened an outlet in Dublin as part of expansion plans.
Toni Forrester from the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce said: “This is fantastic news for Donegal and another vote of confidence in Letterkenny’s retail industry.
“The jobs will be welcome and H&M in the town will increase footfall from shoppers.”
