St Eunan's GAA logoThe Minor Boys footballers will take on Buncrana in the Northern Championship final this Wednesday in Ballybofey with a 7pm throw-in.

The Senior Reserve quarter-final replay will take place on Saturday evening (17th) in Ballybofey at 7:30pm v N. Conaill. The lads will need to show a big improvement to get over the line this time.

The Junior men will take on local rivals the Gaels on Sunday evening (18th), also in Ballybofey in their championship quarter-final at 6pm.

The Senior footballers continued their good league form with a big win over Gaoth Dobhair at the weekend and they are at home this Sunday (18th) to St. Michael’s with a 3pm throw-in. The Senior Championship quarter-finals have now been put back to their original date of September 14th / 15th.

The Senior hurlers bowed out of the championship after a defeat against Setanta last week. Congratulations to Prionsais O’Lionnain, Jack Brennan, Stephen Doherty and Conor O’Grady who were part of the Donegal Minor Hurling team that defeated Roscommon on Saturday. Good luck to the lads in the All Ireland Semi-Final this coming Saturday v Westmeath in Clones.

The Senior Ladies advanced to the semi-finals of this year’s championship after a good win over St. Mary’s, Convoy last Friday night.

Congratulations to Odhrán McGinley, Ciaran Maloney, Rory Carr, Darragh McWalters and Connor Moore who part of the victorious Buncrana Cup winning team last weekend for Donegal.

The U12 boys capped a memorable season when they defeated Termon, N. Conaill and Killybegs in the county Go Games finals in Ballybofey last Saturday. Next up for this talented team is the U13 league div. 2 that begins in less than 3 weeks.

The U16 Boys div. 1 team had no game on Monday night v Glenfin and it will be reaffixed for another date. This was due to be their last game so they now have 3 backlog games to play. The div. 2 team played Milford and had a good win; their next game is against Letterkenny Gaels on August 30th.

The Sunday Morning Academy returns this Sunday after a two week break.

The U16 Hurlers had a hard fought win against Burt last week, they play away to Carndonagh this Thursday. The U12 Hurlers defeated Gweedore and Burt in the League and play home to Carndonagh this Thursday.

Congratulations to Conor O’Grady who played on the Ulster Provincial Team on Friday.

The Friday evening Hurling & Camogie Academy returns this week after a 1-week break.
