Marathon runner Shane McCarville hopes to set a new Irish record at this weekend’s Quadrathon Marathon in Inishowen.

Shane hopes to complete his 48th marathon so far this year in Donegal which will officially set the record.

Overall he hopes to run 70 marathons and ultra-marathons this year.
