LADIES GAA: ST EUNAN’S SEE OFF MOVILLE TO REACH FIRST SENIOR COUNTY FINAL IN EIGHT YEARS

St Eunan's senior ladiesLADIES GAA: St Eunan’s Ladies beat Moville in the county semi-final in Buncrana today to reach their first senior final in eight years.

In a closely-contested match, the Letterkenny ladies finally saw off the Inishowen opposition by 2-07 to 1-07 – a winning margin of three points.

Sadhbha Medlar and Danielle Fay scored the crucial Eunan’s goals.

Moville had led by a point at half time – 1-07 to 2-03, but Eunan’s stopped the Foylesiders from scoring at all in the second half, adding four points for victory.

St Eunan’s play Termon in the final after they saw off Glenfin in the other semi-final in Glenswilly today.
