Royal Flush Draw – Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 25/08/2013 were 11, 13, 20 & 24. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1820. Consolation prizes went to Shane O’Neill, James Daniel Cassidy & Jamie & Jessica Kelly. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €1860 and the draw will take place in McGuire’s Bar.nAOMH uLTAN

Clothes Bank – A reminder to all in the parish there is clothes bank just outside the grounds of the clubhouse and it can be used anytime. All proceeds made goes back to the club so please try your best to support.

Club Website – The club’s new website is up and running and can be found on the following URL – www.naomhultan.gaa.ie

Adult Football – Both teams were in action over the weekend with the reserve team out first on Saturday evening against Ardara in MacCumhaill Park Ballybofey in the Junior B Championship semi final. After conceding two early goals the boys left it late to start the comeback but sheer determination was rewarded in the closing minutes. Sean Furey got a goal with four minutes remaining, he added a forty five in injury time and a fisted point from Damien Quigley in the last kick secured a draw in a thriller. Credit to the lads for the tremendous fight back, even though missed goal chances could have cost them, they will be glad to be able to fight another day. Final score Naomh Ultan 1-14 Ardara 2-11. The replay will take place this Saturday, August 31st in the Eamonn Byrne memorial park, Fintra, Killybegs. Throw in time is 6pm, with extra time if necessary. The Senior side then had a good away victory against Burt on Sunday afternoon taking the spoils on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-7. Scorers were Dermot Gallier (0-4), Cian Kennedy & Alan Lyons (0-3) and Aiden Duddy (0-1). Next up for them is Pettigo at home this Sunday afternoon at 3pm. All support welcome.

Underage Football – Our Under 13 side played Glen on Sunday morning losing out in the end on a scoreline of 10-13 to 5-6. The young side, mostly of under 12s tried hard but Glen overpowered them in the end. Next up for them in Naomh Brid at home Saturday week, Sept 7th at 12pm.
