Sarah KennedyDonegal’s Sarah Kennedy did her county proud last night in the ninth series finale of Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model on Sky Living.

The 23-year-old student and part-time housekeeper from Portnoo was pipped at the post and came second against Surrey girl Lauren Lambert.

The prize was a top modeling contract with the well-known agency Models 1.

But we predict this won’t be the last time we see Sarah.

The red-haired pale beauty shone out from the 28 other contestants, coming up against two opponents in the pre-recorded finale.

Sarah went through a series of challenging photo shoots, but made it through the tense weekly eliminations.

In the finale, Sarah had her first professional tanning for a poolside shoot in Barbados, followed by a walk down the catwalk in a stunning crimson dress.

The series was judged by singer Dannii Minogue, and supermodels Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford.
