Two goals in four minutes after just six minutes of play left Finn Harps chasing their tails against Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park tonight.finn harps logo

The Donegal team’s season has all but ended but the two early goals practically gifted Wexford the three points in this encounter.

Daragh Walshe popped up after just two minutes of play and again another four minutes later to make it 2-0 for the home side

Thomas McMonagle gave Harps a life-line when he netted just before the break in the 43rd minute.

But just when it looked like Harps were beginning to set out their stall for the second half, Wexford struck again.

This time it was Graham Delaney who got o the scoresheet when he made it 3-1 in the 48th minute.

Harps pushed but with the influential Mickey Funston in midfield and Kevin McHugh up front, they were lacking any penetration.

With just two games left, Peter Hutton and the Ballybofey outfit need a couple of strong performances to stop the whispers of dissent from turning into shouts.
