Swilly Rovers 3

Bonagee took the lead on sixteen minutes when a cross from the right into the box by Glen Rainey was headed home from ten yards by Aiden Mc Laughlin. Swilly came close on twenty minutes when Ryan McDaid saw his effort on goal cleared off the line by the Bonagee defender. Anthony Appiah came close for the home side on the half hour but he shot wide from ten yards. Swilly should have levelled the game on forty minutes when a great ball in from the left by Cormac Toland was headed over from six yards by Blane Curtis. Blane Curtis levelled the match on fifty three minutes when a long ball into the Bonagee box beat the defence and he tapped home from five yards. Swilly took the lead on sixty five minutes when the ball fell to David Fisher on the edge of the box after a poor clearance he hammered home to the corner of the net. Bonagee made it two each on Seventy five minutes when Sam Murphy was brought down in the box and Greg Mc Gee made no mistake from the spot. Mc Gee got his second of the game three minutes later again from the penalty spot after a hand ball from an Aiden Mc Laughlin cross. Laurence Toland made it three each on eighty seven minutes when he scored from a free kick on the edge of the box. Team effort by both sides. Referee Vincent Mc Laughlin.
