Norman at his desk for the last time today

HE could get you home in a storm – or at least get colleagues out to rescue you.

So it was a sad day for all at Malin Head Coast Guard station today as Norman Quinn retired.

The officer, like his colleagues, has worked around the clock to keep people safe and help out when they weren’t.

Enjoy your retirement Norman. You deserve it.
