The Derry man – who has been linked with taking over his home town club following the departure of Declan Devine – left Finn Park last month.

The closing date for candidates to apply to the position of first team manager closed at 5.00pm on Saturday, 25 October last.

The club has confirmed a total of 12 applications and the interview process will begin tomorrow.

The process will be conducted by a selected committee who will report  developments and then present a shortlist of most suitable candidates to board.
