Congratulations to Sean McVeigh on winning a Nicky Rackard All Star Award for 2013. Sean had a terrific season with the Donegal Hurlers that was capped off by his stunning goal in Donegal’s Final win in Croke Park.
The Seniors and Reserves have both won their respective leagues for 2013. The Seniors travelled to Killybegs last weekend and had a big win to end any doubts as to the name going on the Democrat Cup this year. The Reserves were able to take a weekend off but clinched the league title after Gaoth Dobhair defeated N. Conaill with the Glenties men needing to win their remaining games to have had any hope of forcing a play-off. Well done to Eamon, Pat, Noel, Vincent and all the players from both squads.
The Minor Girls will take on N. Mhuire this Sunday at 11am in the Co. Final with the venue still tbc. Keep an eye on Social Media for more details.
The U16 boys will take on N. Conaill in their Co. championship semi-final this Sunday in Glenfin with an 11:30am throw-in. The lads will be hoping to make up for their league final defeat to the Glenties outfit just a few weeks ago.
