A Newmills man who moved a car for a friend but parked in a disabled parking space has agreed to pay €100 to charity.
Seamus Hughes, 50, admitted moving the van for a friend who was at a cash machine.
However while parked at the disabled space at Market Square in Letterkenny, he was approached by Garda Paul McGee.
Hughes, of Brownhall, Newmills said he admitted parking in the disabled space on April 17th, 2013 but said he never received a summons.
Judge Denis McLaughlin said if Hughes was willing to pay €100 to charity he would not record a conviction.
