moville minorsMOVILLE’S Minor Ladies did Donegal proud in their Ulster final showdown in Belfast today.

The Foylesiders were involved in a superb clash with Sean O’Neill’s from Armagh in the provincial final stage by St Paul’s GAA club in Belfast.

It was a fast and furious start with both sides hitting goals, but it was Moville who led at half time 2-12 to 3-06.

And they added to that three point advantage to go 5-12 to 4-07 within ten minutes of the re-start.

The Armagh club however came storming back, and reduced the deficit to 5-13 to 5-09 with five minutes to go.

O’Neills closed in on their Donegal opponents with some ruthless finishing, adding another goal and four points without reply into injury time.

The final score was 6-13 to 5-13, a goal was the difference.

It will be hard to take for the Moville girls but they can come back to Donegal tonight with their heads high after a stunning display and giving a great display on behalf of Ladies Football in Donegal.
