Creameries 5k Cheque Presentation-1024

Staff of Donegal Creameries put the milk runs on hold on May 28th last – for a very special delivery.

The staff of the plant at Crossroads, Killygordon, along with members of the public, turned out in huge numbers to take part in a fun run/walk in aid of the Special Olympics.

And the event was certainly worthwhile with more than €7,280 being raised for the wonderful cause.

This week Mr Aaron Forde,CEO of Aurivo (Donegal Creameries) accepted the cheque for the proceeds.

He congratulated the staff at the creamery for the highly successful event and recognised the fantastic support shown by the wider community’
