GAA NEWS – CALL FOR PLAYERS AS GLENSWILLY LADIES BEGIN TO REBUILD

The ladies team is now up and running and Coaches Hazel White and Hugh Mc Clafferty have asked that anyone interested in getting involved to come along to training on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8 in the hall.Glenswilly GAA Club

To help the development of the Ladies team a Table Quiz will be held in Callaghans Bar Churchill on Friday February 21st at 9pm. tables of four At €20 per table, please come along and support this new venture for the club.

All hall bookings are now under the management of Paul Lapsley who can be contacted on 086 8222887.

This weeks winning Lotto numbers are 10,23,9,7. match three winner is Thomas Mc Gee of Churchill. This weeks sellers are Joe Gibbons and Darren Mc Ginley.

All underage training is now underway and it is essential that all players are registered for the forthcoming year.

Thomas Simmons will let us all know of the next opportunity to register, keep an eye on the notes for dates or contact your manager for a form.

Well done to our County men for a fine display down in Galway last weekend and in particular to Big Neil who was back in the county colours after a short layoff.

A Bazaar in aid of the Chapel restoration will be held on Sunday next from 3pm. in the club house, there will be some interesting items on sale, with raffles and prizes galore so please come along and support.

Our under8s/10s are to commence training this Sunday at 10.30am. in the Game on Facility (old unifi building),so any young boys or girls wishing to get their football careers up and running are welcome to come along.

Our Scor team are competing this Saturday February !5th in Carandonagh so we would all like to wish them all the best. Tickets For the GAA draw are on sale at €10 each or three for €20, the prizes are excellent such as a trip for two to the International Rules game later this year in Australia. Tickets are available from Clun Treasurers Bryan Faul and John McGinley.
