GAA NEWS – URRIS BEGIN CIRCUIT TRAINING FOR SENIORS AND RESERVES

Club Membership now due for 2014-Fees for 2014-Adult Membership: €25, Students (3rd level & in full time education with Student ID card).

€15, Underage: €3. Anyone playing football for the club must have their Membership paid up to be covered by insurance in case of injury.

Club members will also have first preference on Donegal Match tickets for the coming season. Fees must be paid in full by March 31st. Payable to John Friel, Nichola Donaghey or any Committee member.

 

Match “N” Win February 13th-No Jackpot Winner-numbers Drawn: 4, 19, 21 & 24. €15 winners: Sean Mc Carron, 3 Cleagh, Clonmany, Brendan Kelly,Dunaff, Neil Doherty, Chapel Glen,Clonmany, Brendan Grant, Annaugh, D Ranty, Urrismanagh. Jackpot next week €980. Thanks to all our Lotto Sellers and all who support this weekly draw.

 

Well done to all who represented the club in Scor Sinsir in the Colgan Hall,Carndonagh on Saturday night. We have three acts through to the County Final in Glenswilly on Friday February 28th. Kieran Friel got through in the Solo Singing. Shaun Mc Daid, Eamon Mc Gonigle, Ciaran Doherty & Kieran Friel through in the Traditional Music act. Finally, Shaun Mc Daid, kieran Friel, Ciaran Doherty & Ryan Ivers through in the Ballad Group section. Best of luck lads in the final. A great start for our new Cultural Officer Shaun Mc Daid.

 

Thanks to all who bought tickets and attended the Charity Dance on Saturday night in the Strand Hotel in aid of the new Club House. A big thanks to Charlie & Anna Doherty for all their help in organising this event.

GAA National Club Draw-€10 tickets are now available from John J Friel or any Committee member. 10 fantastic prizes including a trip to The 2014 International Rules in Australia, Trip to New York, Gaa Packages. All monies raised from these tickets are retained by CLG IORRAS/URRIS GAA . Funds raised will be used for the ongoing Clubhouse Development and for the day to day running of our club. Draw takes place on March 17th 2014.

 

Senior & Reserve men circuit training continues every Wednesday (9pm) and Friday (8pm) in Community Centre, Clonmany, Ladies Sunday morning 9.45am at Binnion Beach and Minors Monday nights at 8pm at the Astro Turf.
