FANAD V NEWTOWN! WHO’S GOING TO WIN THE BATTLE OF THE RING?

1604542_1456634354565001_949617993_nLocal GAA Clubs Gaeil Fhánada C.L.G and Naomh Colmcille will host ‘Fight Night’, a white collar boxing event, next Sunday 16th March in The Silver Tassie Hotel.

The event, consisting of 15 fights, will see men and women from Fanad and Newton take to the boxing ring hoping to bring home the bacon (or bragging rights!!!) for their respective clubs!

The boxers have been undertaking intense training for the last number of weeks with instructor Danny Ryan of Boxfit Letterkenny, an experience which they all will agree is both tough yet enjoyable.

Fight Night will be the biggest social event in each of the club’s calendars for 2014 and with MC for the evening, DJ Marty Friel, it’s sure to be an unmissable night!

Tickets are €20 and are available from committee members or boxers from either club – and we’re told they’re running out fast.
