GAA NEWS: ST EUNAN’S RECORD WINS OVER TERMON

StEunansThe Seniors and Reserves continued their good start to the league over the weekend with good wins over Termon at home. The Reserves eked out a 1-point win on Saturday and the Seniors also had a close game before running out comfortable winners in the second half. The next games are at home to Gaoth Dobhair on Good Friday. 

The Minor A team take on the Gaels in the Northern League q-final this Wednesday in O’Donnell Park at 6:30pm. The B team take on Red Hugh’s away in the div. 2 q-finals.

Good luck to Maxi, Darragh, Conor and Lee as the Donegal U21’s take on Cavan in the Ulster final this Wednesday (9th) in Armagh at 8pm.

The Senior Ladies league begins on April 27th with an away game v Milford.

There will be a Senior Executive meeting next Monday, April 14th at 7:30pm in the Clubhouse.

The Minor Hurlers travel to Buncrana this Thursday whilst the U14 Hurlers had a hard fought win in the league last week against MacCumhaills. In the game St Eunan’s needed to use their full complement of subs to ensure victory against a determined MacCumhaills fight back in the second half. The U14 Hurlers play in the Donegal Féile this Saturday starting at 11am in O’Donnell Park. All support welcome.

U14, U16 and Minor hurling training continues every Tuesday at 5pm. New hurlers always welcome.

The U14 Boys have their last games this weekend before the quarter-finals. The B team travel to St. Mary’s, Convoy on Friday night and the C team travel to N. Colmcille on Monday night (14th). The A team have a bye this weekend but may have a re-arranged game v Cloughaneely – keep an eye on social media for any changes.

The U12 girl’s footballers have a friendly this Wednesday evening at 6pm at O’Donnell Park.

U14 Girls training continues on Thursdays between 4:50pm and 6pm. Their first match is against Letterkenny Gaels at O’Donnell Park next Tuesday (throw-in 6.15pm)

The U12 Camog’s have a home game this Sunday (13th) against Four Masters. U12 & U14 Camogie is on Wednesday’s between 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

The Sunday Morning Football Academy is up and running once again and takes place at 11am each week for ages 4 to 10. New members welcome from the entire Letterkenny area.

The Hurling & Camogie Academy is on a two week break and will return at 6:30pm on Friday, April 25th.

There will be a Minor Board meeting next Wednesday, April 16th in the Clubhouse at 8pm.
