BODY DISCOVERED ON BUNDORAN SHORE

GARDA LOGO 3Gardai are investigating the discovery of a body on the Bundoran shoreline today.

The body of a man was taken from the water this morning near the Crest of the Wave estate area. It is believed that the body was in the water for some time.

The remains were taken to Sligo General Hospital for a post mortem examination.

A garda spokesperson said that the outcome of the post mortem exam will determine the course of their investigation.

The man has not yet been formally identified.
