The 18 year old, who is from Westport, Co Mayo, has been in flying form for the Ballybofey outfit.

But as well as banging in the goals for Harps, Ruairi has another claim to fame.

The striker with the distinctive quaff hairstyle has a very famous uncle – one Ronan Keating from Boyzone.

Ruairi and his family including his dad Ciaran, Ronan’s older brother, moved to live in the West of Ireland a number of years ago.

Ruairi is on a loan transfer from Sligo Rovers where he is a highly-rated player.

The former Boyzone frontman has yet to make it to Finn Park to see the quick feet and silky skills of his young nephew.
