BREAKING NEWS….EIGHTY pupils from Gaelscoil Adhamhnáin in Letterkenny have just arrived home from the National Concert Hall in Dublin – with a top trophy and a very large cheque.

Not only did they reach the national final of the Waltons Music for Schools Competition, they took second place in the prestigious competition

They performed ‘Draíocht an Cheoil’ (Magic of Music) before a sold-out crowd at the NCH – and won a standing ovation.

Judges said the Letterkenny school’s performance was first class and helped win a prize of €1,500!

So good in fact, that a special Garda escort was on hand at the Dry Arch Roundabout to escort the children back to the school.

You can watch how good they are by pressing play on the video above – the video which got them picked for the final.
