LOCK YOUR CARS! THIEVES STRIKE AGAIN AS OWNERS LEAVE DOORS OPEN!

thief carTHIEVES have struck again – with the help of their victims.

Despite numerous warnings from Gardaí throughout County Donegal in recent weeks, car owners continue to leave their vehicles unlocked outside their homes.

So little wonder thieves had a ball when they raided nine cars in Buncrana at the weekend.

All of them had been left unlocked – making the thieves’ job very easy indeed.

To make matters worse for the vehicle’s owners, personal items taken during the robberies will not be covered by their car insurance companies.

It’s just the latest theft spree involving raids on unlocked vehicles in Kilmacrennan and Termon earlier this month.

Gardaí are again appealing to people to lock their cars at all times.

Earlier this month 15 cars were raided
