Forty young hurlers and camogie players, representing Allianz Cumann na mBunscol, entertained the crowd on Saturday in O’Donnell Park, during half time of the Dún na nGall v Fingal Nicky Rackard Semi- Final. GAA BALL

The players were from various schools in the county promoting hurling and camogie.

6 of the players came from the Gaoth Dobhair/ Dungloe area, where earlier in the week a combined team won the Letterkenny Schools Cup for ‘larger schools’ beating Scoil Cholmcille in a very close final.

Thanks to all the parents and teachers who helped out on Saturday with the organization of the game. The children enjoyed the match even though Dún na nGall just fell short in their attempt to retain the Rackard Cup.

Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Dún na nGall, hope to bring a team to the forthcoming Ulster Championship match against Down in Newry. Another positive step in promoting Hurling in the County.
